I am a third year finance major and have been part of the Finance Society Club for 1 year now. I enjoy going to the Gym, playing the Piano, and going to the Mountains. I am also involved in the Bronco Investment Club. I hope to help fellow students navigate through the college system on the pre-finance pathway!

Hey everyone! My name is Jay Silva, and I am currently a senior majoring in FRL. Some things I like to do in my free time include playing the guitar, cooking, hanging out with friends, and going to concerts. As your Vice President and Scheduler, I will be working on keeping the club running smoothly with fellow E-Board members as well as assisting with scheduling and setting up events in order to give you the next experience here at Finance Society.

Greetings, I’m John, a second year finance student here at Cal Poly. I was part of the spring 2025 bronco asset management team and perform accounting duties for my parents company. I’m always in the Bloomberg lab analyzing stocks or observing the market. I enjoy tennis, golf, and gym and I prefer to meal prep my own meals. Hi, my name is Thomas Mann and I am a senior here at Cal Poly Pomona. I transferred here from Citrus College as a junior and quickly got involved by joining Finance Society as UBSS Senator. Since then, I’ve been elected as a Treasurer by my peers. My passion for finance comes from a genuine interest in helping people, whether that be through financial planning or investment strategies. Outside of academics and finance, I love to go on bike rides, hangout at the beach and spend time with my girlfriend. Being part of the club has allowed me to dive deeper into my interests, and it would be a pleasure to help other students explore a similar path.
